CM-PEHG NP
A phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin preservative boosted with a natural preservative booster, for stronger broad-spectrum protection.
CM-PEHG NP combines the phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin blend with the natural preservative booster CM-NP, which enhances the efficacy of the blend.
- Broad-spectrum efficacy: more effective against bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi, with superior performance to the commonly used phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin blend
- Lowest minimum inhibitory concentration against all five organisms tested: 4 to 16 times more potent than CM-NP and 2 to 4 times more potent than CM-PEHG 9010
- In a challenge test at 1.25% (PCPC M-3 method, 28 days), log reduction above 5 against all organisms tested from day 2
- Gentle preservation: microbiome-friendly and suitable for sensitive skin application
- Versatility: ideal for transparent gels, creams, lotions and shampoos
- A good alternative: a paraben-free, formaldehyde-free and CMIT/MIT-free preservation system
