KVIS 30 H

A hydrogenated polyisobutylene with exceptional chemical and oxidative stability and minimal odour.

Ask on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab)

Hydrogenated polyisobutylene is the preferred polymer when exceptional chemical and oxidative stability, along with minimal odour, is required. It is produced by hydrogenating KVIS series polyisobutylene, which reduces most double bonds (as shown by its very low bromine number), and it can be easily emulsified.

Our KVIS hydrogenated grades are commonly used in personal care formulations, where their high purity makes them a viable alternative to fatty esters and other emollients or high-cost oils. They are bright, clear, viscous liquids known for their excellent sensory feel, waterproofing and moisturising qualities.
